Shmuel Bonneh: From the Land of the Bible to the Great Sea
In 1971, the Haifa Museum of Art held a retrospective exhibition for Shmuel Bonneh. Almost 50 years later, the Mané-Katz Museum is proud to present Bonneh's rich artistic career, in an exhibition showing a selection of his best works.
In the Golem's Garden
The story of the Golem – a staple of Jewish folklore – describes a being made of clay and brought to life using secret incantations. This act straddles the boundary between the godlike and the sinful, between wisdom and witchcraft. The legend about the man-made creature expresses a desire for power, control, and convenience. These desires continue to animate the heart of man to this day.

The Mané-Katz Museum in Haifa is proud to present a selection from the works of artist Chana Orloff (1888-1968), an early proponent of a personal, revolutionary approach to the female body, alongside works of contemporary art that seek to explore conventional boundaries in depictions of the female body with regard to collective space.
